About this deal

I love this lip conditioner- it really does work. I can’t find it in the shops. The service from this company was great. If you are someone who likes to know what you put on your face then fragrance is not your best friend - there's no way to know what’s really in it. Royal Mail : I was not at home atthe time pf delivery, the product was taken to the local post office, where I went to collect it. All good. It’s the most commonly used version of pure vitamin E in cosmetics. You can read all about the pure form here. This one is the so-called esterified version. Aloe Vera is one of today’s magic plants. It does have some very nice properties indeed, though famous dermatologist Leslie Baumann warns us in her book that most of the evidence is anecdotal and the plant might be a bit overhyped. Limonene's nr1 function is definitely being a fragrance component, but there are several studies showing that it's also a penetration enhancer, mainly for oil-loving components. The famous Vaseline orPetroleum Jelly. Just like mineral oil, it is also a by-product of refining crude oil, aka petroleum, and it is also a mixture ofhydrocarbons but with bigger (C18-90+) carbon chain length.

The famous Vaseline orPetroleum Jelly. Just like mineral oil, it is also a by-product of refining crude oil, aka petroleum, and it is also a mixture ofhydrocarbons but with bigger (C18-90+) carbon chain length. The unique thing about petrolatum is that it is the most effective occlusive agent known today. Nourishes and restores soft, healthy looking lips with cocoa butter, vitamin E, grapeseed and olive oils Olive oil - an oleic acid-rich (55-83%) emollient plant oil that can moisturize dry skin. Also, it contains antioxidant polyphenols and vitamin E. This gentle formula is perfect for daily use, re-apply as often as you like - every day, any climate, anytime.

I didn’t like and wouldn’t recommend its applicator. Taking a drop and massaging it onto my lips is better for me instead. The slight white cast on my lips.I tried some boots posh no 7 protect & perfect Lip balm yesterday that I'd been given in a gift set. Little tube- not too bad though doesn't taste as nice.

Quality made beauty item for keeping lips moist with nutritional content no matter the weather or season. Keep in handbag as just right for same and in house. My go to for lip TLC and would not be without. Unperfumed and easy to apply. As for petrolatum and safety, we can write here pretty much the exact same thing as we have written at mineral oil. There is no evidence whatsoever that cosmetic, USP grade petrolatum is carcinogenic. It also does not absorb into the skinbut sits on top of it and that in itself greatly minimises health risks. It also has a long history of safe use, as it was first used as a skincare product more than 100 years ago, in 1872to be precise. Blistex thankfully hasn't changed, or if it has, not in any negative way. It was my go to as a teenager for chapped lips, and still is today. An ex-vivo (made on human skin but not on real people) study examined the cocoa polyphenols and found that 0.5-0.75% of them improved skin tone and elasticity and had a similarly positive impact on GAGs (important natural moisturizing factors in the skin) and collagen synthesis than a commercial high-end moisturizer (it was an Estee Lauder one). This lip balm offers hydration, smoothness and an effective SPF15. Its formula is very rich and – as its name suggests – contains 3 natural types of butter: mango, shea and tucuma butter. Mango is rich in vitamins, shea butter is deeply moisturising, while tucuma butter acts as an emollient and anti-oxidant agent. I've used Blistex Intensive Moisturiser for donkey's years, but can't seem find any either in shops of online? A common fragrance ingredient that has a faint sweet balsamic smell. It can also be a solvent and can fight against microbes and insects very well.

As for skincare, cocoa butter counts as a rich emollient that can moisturize and nourish even the driest skin (think chapped hands or lips). It's solid at room temperature and melts nicely when you smear it on. It's loaded with good-for-the-skin things: it contains fatty acids, mainly oleic (35%), stearic (34%), and palmitic (25%) and it also has antioxidant vitamin E and polyphenols. No matter the origin, in small amounts (up to 1%) it’s a nice, gentle preservative. Has to be combined with some other nice preservatives, like potassium sorbateto be broad spectrum enough. It's one of those things that help your cosmetics not to go wrong too soon, aka a preservative. It can be naturally found in fruits and teas but can also be made synthetically.
